The Ministry of Health and Welfare announced that the Cabinet approved a draft amendment to the Enforcement Decree of the Long-Term Care Insurance Act on Wednesday, May 6, which allows foreign seasonal workers (E-8 visa holders) to be exempted from the Long-Term Care Insurance program upon application.

The council will discuss both strengthening pre-entry verification of student visas and implementing flexible post-entry residency management.
