An overview of Kyung Hee University’s institutional and graduate-school structure, together with the application, document, interview, registration, and Certificate of Admission schedule for the 2027 spring international admissions cycle.

Key Points
- Kyung Hee University Graduate School’s 2027 spring admission for international students outside the regular quota, including new and transfer admissions, closes applications at 5:00 p.m. on October 2.
- Completing only the online form does not complete the application.
Kyung Hee University Graduate School’s 2027 spring admission for international students outside the regular quota, including new and transfer admissions, closes applications at 5:00 p.m. on October 2. Completing only the online form does not complete the application. Applicants must also manage payment of the application fee and dispatch of required documents by the same day.
After the application deadline, the process continues in sequence with interviews, the admission announcement, tuition payment, and submission of final original documents. Because the dates for each stage are spread out, it is safer to mark them all on a calendar at once.
What kind of university is Kyung Hee University?
Kyung Hee University is a comprehensive university with 3 campuses—Seoul, Global, and Gwangneung—and operates across the humanities and social sciences, engineering, natural sciences, medicine and pharmacy, arts, and physical education. Published university figures distinguish 23 colleges, 8 undergraduate divisions, 83 departments, as well as the Graduate School, professional graduate schools, and special graduate schools.
This notice concerns international new and transfer admissions outside the regular quota for the Graduate School. Even though the university as a whole covers many academic fields, not every department admits the same number of students or uses the same selection method. Applicants should first check the admissions guide to confirm whether their intended major is recruiting in this cycle, which campus they will study at, and whether the department requires a separate interview or practical examination.
How online application and document submission differ
Online applications are accepted through Uway Apply from 10:00 a.m. on September 7 to 5:00 p.m. on October 2. The online application is complete only after the application form is submitted and the application fee is paid.
The document-submission period also runs from September 7 through October 2. Mailed documents are accepted if postmarked no later than October 2. The submission address is the Global Admissions Team, Room 108, Woojungwon, Kyung Hee University Global Campus. Applicants should verify that the information entered online matches the printed application documents and supporting materials, then send them together.
The university instructs applicants to check the admissions website for document-arrival status from September 28 through October 12. Even applicants who send materials on the deadline should return to the arrival-status screen and verify receipt.
From interview to admission announcement
Interviews or practical examinations are scheduled for November 28. Times and locations by major will be announced after 3:00 p.m. on November 26, so applicants must separately check the notice for their department. Because not all majors are evaluated in the same way, the department-specific selection method in the admissions guide takes precedence.
Admission results will be announced at 3:00 p.m. on December 11. Rather than sending individual notices, the university directs applicants to check the international admissions website. Admitted applicants should immediately review the registration procedure and any additional submission items on the results page.
Two deadlines remain after admission
Tuition payment runs from 10:00 a.m. on January 4 to 4:00 p.m. on January 11, 2027. By 4:00 p.m. that same day, applicants must also submit the original documents required by the university, including final educational-background and transcript certificates and a bank balance certificate. Required documents may vary according to the applicant’s educational background, nationality, and country of issuance, so applicants should prepare the items that apply to them under the admissions guide.
The Standard Certificate of Admission is scheduled to be issued starting January 20. However, payment of tuition alone is not enough: it will not be issued until all final original documents required by the university have been verified. Applicants residing overseas need to work backward from the visa application timeline when planning authentication of original documents and international mailing.
What applicants should do now
First, check the admissions guide for whether the intended department is recruiting and for its language and academic requirements. Next, record whether the online application, application-fee payment, and document dispatch have each been completed. After mailing, add the document-arrival check, the November 26 interview notice, and the December 11 admission announcement to the schedule. Preparing authenticated originals and financial documents for post-admission submission during the application stage can reduce pressure from the January deadline.
