The Korean-language admissions guidelines for the 2027 Spring Semester International Student New and Transfer Admissions Process, attached to Kyung Hee University’s Global Admissions page, are marked as a “draft.” Since the guidelines explicitly state that the admissions schedule is subject to change, applicants should use the dates below as a general guideline but must also check subsequent announcements on the website.

The first thing to note regarding the second round of admissions is the deadline distinction between online applications and documents submitted by mail. The online application period runs from October 26, 2026, to November 6 at 5:00 PM (KST). In contrast, while the period for submitting documents by mail is from October 26 to November 6, only documents postmarked on or before November 5 will be accepted. All required documents must be submitted by mail only; in-person submissions are not accepted. The application guidelines instruct applicants to verify the arrival of their mail and state that the university is not responsible for any delivery errors.

Starting with the first semester of the 2027 academic year, the interview exam will be abolished. For programs outside the arts and physical education fields, selection will be based 100% on document evaluation; for arts and physical education programs, selection will be based 50% on document evaluation and 50% on practical skills assessment. Final admitted students must submit their final academic transcripts and certificates of academic achievement, certified by a consulate or with an Apostille, along with an original bank statement (for those requiring a student visa) by the specified deadline. The Standard Admission Letter cannot be issued if the required original documents are not submitted.

Tuition and dormitory fees are based on the second semester of the 2026 academic year, and the guidelines state that they are subject to change for the first semester of the 2027 academic year. Therefore, second-round applicants should first review the admission schedule to separately verify the deadline times and postmark deadlines for each stage, and then check the Kyung Hee University Global Admissions website for any subsequent updates.
