Three junior colleges in Incheon recruit international students: Kyung-in Women's University, Inha Technical College and JEI University. In 2025 university disclosures, the three institutions had 13,492 enrolled students and 746 international students. All emphasize practice-oriented education, but their recruiting departments and the industries around their campuses differ.

Kyung-in Women's University is in Gyeyang District, Inha Technical College in Michuhol District and JEI University in Dong District. Rather than judging proximity to Songdo or the airport from an institution's name, applicants should check the actual campus and the locations of training and industry-academic partner organizations.

Compare costs and scale on the same basis

The three institutions' average annual tuition ranges from KRW 6,766,800 to KRW 7,119,200. Applicants should add the actual tuition and practical-training fees for the department they intend to enter rather than looking only at the gap. Dormitory capacity is 10.7% or lower at all three institutions and is 0.1% at Kyung-in Women's University. It is more realistic to check both the chance of receiving a dormitory place and off-campus housing costs than to budget on the assumption of university housing.

Kyung-in Women's University: specific departments recruiting international students

Its 2026 international-admissions guide lists health-care administration, social welfare, sports rehabilitation, food and nutrition, digital media design, video broadcasting, computer software and fashion design, as well as tourism, beauty, international commerce, aviation service, hotel culinary and bakery studies, and global Korean studies, as recruiting departments.

The university operates international-student guidance and an application system in several languages, including Korean, English and Vietnamese. The fifth application round for the September 2026 semester is announced to close on August 13. Students applying now should check document-submission deadlines and interview dates as well as the online application. The admissions guide also says that the method of opening separate classes and English tracks may change if enrollment does not meet the required level, a condition that matters when choosing a major.

It has the largest number of international students among the three institutions, at 428, but students should still plan off-campus housing and commuting early.

Inha Technical College: practice-oriented engineering education in an airport and industrial city

Inha Technical College runs engineering fields such as mechanical engineering, aviation, electrical and electronic engineering, computers and construction alongside service fields such as aviation operations, aviation management, hotels, tourism and logistics. For students seeking a major connected to Incheon's aviation, logistics and manufacturing base, departmental labs, industry-academic partner companies and the way field training is run are key comparison points.

Its disclosed average annual tuition is the highest of the three institutions, at KRW 7,119,200, and its dormitory capacity rate is 8.1%. Aviation and engineering fields may have substantial Korean-language requirements for training equipment and certification courses, so applicants should confirm with both the admissions office and department which departments recruit international students, the language of instruction, practical safety training and eligibility for certification examinations.

JEI University: from service and content to global taekwondo

JEI University offers practice-oriented fields including beauty, culinary arts, tourism, content and AI, as well as a Department of Global Taekwondo. The university's official news introduced the new Department of Global Taekwondo, established in 2026, as offering participation in international competitions and practical training. Incheon JEI University is also mentioned as a local educational institution on the Incheon Free Economic Zone's official page introducing the Songdo bio cluster.

It has 217 international students, average annual tuition of KRW 6,982,700 and a dormitory capacity rate of 10.7%. Students choosing majors with a high practical component should check materials, tools and uniform costs in addition to tuition, along with the location and hours of field training.

A practical order for choosing among the three institutions

First, find the departments currently recruiting through the international-admissions track. A general admissions department list may not match the departments recruiting international students. Second, check the language of instruction and practical-training conditions, including the standard for following Korean-language classes and conditions for certificates, national examinations and field training. Third, examine housing: calculate dormitory applications, off-campus monthly rent and deposits, and commuting after evening practical work together. Fourth, consider the path after graduation. For each department, confirm the route that fits your goal among employment fields, transfer admission and advanced-major programs.

Incheon's three junior colleges offer a wider range of majors than their number suggests. Use disclosed figures to narrow cost and scale, then make the final choice with the latest international-admissions guide, departmental curriculum and dormitory and housing information.
