Kyung Hee University opens first-round applications for international undergraduate admission for the first semester of the 2027 academic year on August 17

Kyung Hee University will begin first-round applications for new and transfer international undergraduate students for the first semester of the 2027 academic year on August 17. Online applications close at 5 p.m. on August 28, but mailed documents are accepted only if postmarked by August 27, leaving one less day for actual preparation.

Kyung Hee University's Global Admissions Team announced the online application and document-submission schedule on August 13. Applicants must create an account on the Uway application website, complete the online application, and mail all documents to the Seoul Campus.

Documents must be sent to the Global Admissions Team, Student Life Support Zone, first floor of Cheongun Hall, Kyung Hee University, 26 Kyungheedae-ro, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul. Applicants to units at the International Campus must also submit documents to the Seoul Campus address stated in the notice.

Although the online-application deadline and the document-arrival period may appear to be the same, the accepted postmark rule is different. Applicants who submit an online application on August 28 cannot obtain an accepted postmark by mailing documents that day. Plan to prepare the required documents first and complete mailing by August 27.

Admission guide to be posted before applications open

Kyung Hee University said it plans to post the admission guide for the first semester of the 2027 academic year before applications open. Eligibility, recruitment units, language requirements, and the detailed list of documents must be checked against the new guide.

The current notice confirms the application period, mail-submission method and address, and contact information. Once the admission guide is posted, applicants should check the campus and recruitment unit they intend to apply to, along with eligibility and required documents for new and transfer admission.
