The “2026 Seoul Job Fair for Foreigners,” hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and organized by the Seoul Global Center, will be held on Wednesday, November 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Exhibition Hall 1 at SETEC in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. According to the official event guide, visitors include foreign job seekers and international students seeking employment, among others. As verified on October 3, the pre-registration form for individual participants was available.

October 16 is the deadline for companies to apply to participate. The Seoul Metropolitan Government is recruiting companies with plans to hire foreign nationals or those interested in securing global talent from September 28 through October 16. Pre-registration for individual participants is open as of October 3 through a separate process; the confirmed individual registration screen does not display a specific deadline or cutoff time.

For individual pre-registration, select “Participant” and fill out the individual form

Individuals can access the “Fair Participation Application (Individual)” form by selecting “Participant” and clicking “Apply to Participate” on the “Fair Participation Application” page of the official expo website. The website states that visitors who pre-register can enter the event without waiting in line on-site.

Before filling out the form, have your name, contact information, email address, date of birth, nationality, place of residence, and major ready. The form also includes fields for career field, work experience, certifications held, Korean language proficiency, current status, purpose of participation, and how you learned about the event; under “Current Status,” you can select “Studying Abroad”. Some fields, such as “Certifications Held,” are not marked as required (with an asterisk).

During the application process, you will also set a password to check your application later. After submitting your application, you can check or modify your application details via the “Application Confirmation” menu on the website using the contact information and password you entered during registration.

Participating-Company Information Planned for Phased Release on or after October 23

The Participating Companies page explains that the event is currently in the recruitment and confirmation phase. It states that information on participating companies is planned for release in stages on or after October 23. The Seoul Metropolitan Government plans to provide details on each company’s recruitment fields, job roles, and qualification requirements so that job seekers can review them in advance.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government has set a target of 100 companies and 3,000 foreign job seekers for this year’s on-site job fair. This is an operational goal for this year’s event, not a reflection of the currently confirmed number of participants or hiring results. According to the Seoul Metropolitan Government, last year’s inaugural event attracted approximately 80 companies and 2,000 foreign job seekers, with about 1,200 pre-registrations.

On-site Program Structure Announced; Detailed Schedule Still Being Finalized

The official event website lists the event’s structure as including corporate recruitment booths, corporate promotional booths, recruitment information sessions, side events, and other activities. In a press release, the Seoul Metropolitan Government explained that it is planning pre-event resume submissions, on-site interviews, visa and labor consulting, and job preparation support programs. However, the “Side Events” page is currently marked as “Program under preparation,” and since the detailed schedule is still being finalized, the specific timetables for individual programs have not yet been released. Additionally, the option to upload a resume was not found on the individual pre-registration form.

The event will be held at SETEC Exhibition Hall 1 (3104 Nambusunhwan-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul). For inquiries, please contact the fair’s organizing office at 02-6235-5092 or 02-6235-5186, or via email at seoulgf@kfo.or.kr.
